Chocolate Sponge Cake Mix
This complete sponge cake mix requires only the addition of water to create a wonderfully light and moist sponge.
To make a sponge cake add 500g of water to 1kg of Macphie Sponge Cake Mix and slow whisk for 1 minute. Scrape down and whisk on middle speed for 10 – 15 minutes followed by top speed for 5 – 10 minutes and finally slow speed for 1 – 2 minutes. Scoop 160g of the batter into a 15cm round baking tin and bake at 190 – 200 degrees for 18 minutes
